CHAPTER IX. HOW TO INTRIGUE AND CAPTIVATE WOMEN

The Ethics of Using Amorous Stimulants

In this chapter we are to consider how one may intrigue and captivate women. No evaluation of what is morally or ethically right or wrong is to be offered. As the author I shall not presume to decide that which may be better left to the reader's own religious and moral concepts.

Intent, then, in this chapter, is to determine how a man may most effectively employ romantic stimuli to arouse the romantic-desire of women (plural).

What use the reader may make of the knowledge thus gained must be decided by him.

Having arrived at the generally accepted, modern definition that "Normal Sex" is love-making of almost any type, between Human Male and Human Female, we now consider what constitutes "Abnormal Sex." We might assume that if love-making between Human Male and Human Female is "Normal Sex," procedures which do not involve Human Male and Human Female might be classified as "Abnormal Sex." In years gone by, in our own society, this was true. But today there is considerable controversy about what may be termed not "normal." Therefore, any procedure or practice considered in this chapter as "Abnormal Sex" may not necessarily be so considered by sizeable [sic] segments of our society. And our definitions herein are admittedly open to debate.

Identifying the "Weird-o" is much more difficult than recognizing the "Pansy." And it might be noted here that many persons cannot recognize as being "that way" even the most typical "Fairy." Witness the vociferous 'teen-age girls who scream their adulation for the many long-haired singing groups so obviously effeminate. But identifying these of this persuasion is ordinarily easy for one who has long been acquainted in art and theatrical circles, where they abound.

And, there are persons who assure me they can also pick out, at least from the male homosexuals, those who are actually "Weird-os."

CHAPTER VII. "WEIRD-O" SEX

The Queer Behavior of the "Mod-Odds"

There is today a growing segment of the population which might be termed the "Mod-Odd Group." These are the deviate-thinking, with concepts veering far from ideas and ideals long regarded as true, good and unquestionably right by our society at large. But now no dogma or credence can be so well established that it can be free from challenge by these "New Thinkers." They question all morals and standards, no matter how long accepted by former generations, or the present generation. And their social behavior follows their thinking. It is noncomformist.

...And a portion of this "Mod-Odd Group" has graduated into the "way out" psychedelic group often termed the "Weird-os."

And what is the psychedelic "Weird-o"?

"For the 'Weird-o' even normal abnormal sex isn't far out enough," one who confessed to being a "Mod-Odd" explains. "Most of our group experiment with what you 'squares' call abnormal sex. We may like mix up in mating. But the 'Weird-o' has made it way on past us. He gets his kicks only out of 'abnormal' abnormal sex."

Freakish Practices of the Real "Weird-Os"

Homosexuality is something the "Weird-o" is almost certain to have explored, and probably adopted. Usually it is the only kind of sexuality he can enjoy, or even tolerate. But to be satisfactory, homosexuality must have some extra emotional arousal. Just venturing into the first phase of abnormal sex does not suffice. Sadism or masochism must be involved; or flagellation must be a part of his sex act. Or obscene, carnal acts of total degradation must be performed.

Many of the males are masochistic. A "Weird-o" may want a man "lover" to beat him. Almost invariably he wants the beating to be done in a certain prescribed manner. The whipping may have to be done with a leather whip--or a belt--or with some special quirt or switch he keeps for the occasions. Often he wants to be bound, tied or chained during the flagellation. For there is often a desire to be humiliated and abused during the castigation.

Albiades was typical of many of the upper-class Greeks in those days, in that he was physically courageous (he later distinguished himself as a general in the army)... and in the fact that he sought sexuality with both men and women.

This can be true of the pederast of today, of course. Feared today mostly by society as a possible child-molester, a pederast is likely to possess average physical courage. In this he characteristically differs from the "Fairy-type" homosexual, who will seldom exhibit any manly courage. And pederasts, in contrast to "Fairies" are often "Double-gaited" (a modern slang term for those who enjoy sexuality with either male or female.)

Inbred in the Oriental woman, for centuries, has been a respect for and submission to, the masculine will, not to be eradicated in one or two generations. And it is small wonder that the American male, accustomed to playing suitor to the average American girl, is captivated with the submissive adoration accorded a man by the average Oriental girl, different to the capricious and demanding American girl.

They may not pursue similar careers or vocations. Interests outside their apartment may not be the same. They may feign interest in men, occasionally dating one of confident no repulsive (to them) "necking" will be attempted. Most are not of a gregarious type. Having found a partner with whom they can secretly share affections, they quietly and secretly participate in homosexuality with these same partners indefinitely.

Females who have love for, and sex with, other women, are also sometimes called 'Queers.' A certain type (the 'Husband' type) are called "Dikes" or "Butches". But the name most commonly used for all of them is "Lesbians." This appellation originated in the sixth century B.C. In those days, there lived on the Greek island of Lesbos, the poetess, Sappho. This extraordinary person, who managed to have a husband and child, conducted a school for girls. She taught them the arts, music, dancing, and evidently a few other things. For Sappho fell wildly in love with one pupil after another. And these affairs inspired her to write the most passionate type of poetry.

Procedures in Sexuality Considered "Normal"

Since that momentous occasion when Adam, Eve and the Apple got together--as far back as legend and history extent--the mating of Male with Female has been regarded as "normal."

But no matter what was sanctioned or banned, endorsed or proscribed, by various groups, tribes and nations, no matter how conflicting their ideas on other aspects, on a single one all have found agreement. "Normal Sex" is mating of the Human Male with the Human Female.
